The Greater Kansas City Home Show offers an exciting blend of new and familiar faces to help homeowners get a jump start on their spring home and garden projects. Bringing more than 250 builders, remodelers, landscapers, designers and contractors featuring the latest design trends and construction materials, the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City is proud to offer local residents the opportunity to experience the best ways to make their homes a place of comfort and beauty.

Jeff Lewis, Star of Bravo's "Flipping Out"

Jeff Lewis, star of Bravo’s hit docu-series “Flipping Out,” will headline Kansas City’s 70th annual flagship Home Show, March 23-25. Jeff will appear on Saturday and Sunday (March 24 and 25) at the Home Show at Bartle Hall. After each of his stage presentations, Jeff will participate in a meet and greet for home show guests (separate ticket required). Click BUY TICKETS for details.

KC MADE Competition - Entries due Feb. 16

The KC Manufacturing and Design Expo is a contest among high school students in construction and manufacturing programs (grades 9-12). Students who enter the contest will display their woodworking and/or metalwork projects during the Greater Kansas City Home Show. Projects are not limited in scope and can range from a tiny house to a dining room table. A panel of judges will determine the award winners based on specific criteria outlined below. Winners will be announced during the Home Show.

Junior Design Challenge - Entries due March 2

This thought-provoking and educational interior design competition is open to all Kansas City metro area junior high and high school students. Playing the role of interior designer, each student is asked to design a room based on the theme and criteria. Ten semi-finalists in each age group will be invited to the Home Show where their designs will be presented on stage. From there, two finalists in each age group will be selected for a live challenge at the Greater Kansas City Home Show. The final on-site project will be judged by a panel of experts in the design field and one winner will be selected from each age group. Click here for more information on how to enter the competition!

Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair

The Strawberry Swing has become a Kansas City tradition. Full of creatives who are experts at their craft, this indie craft fair is the Midwest’s celebration of the handmade movement. With more than 30 vendors at the Home Show, attendees will be able to shop for home decor and more — all made by local artisans.

Greater Kansas City Home Show

The Home Builders Association held Kansas City’s first home show in 1948 and the annual event has become the go-to showcase for home improvement, technology, and design ideas as well as a fun-filled day with activities for all ages.
The 2018 Home Show will be the 70th year of the event to be held at Bartle Hall March 23-25, 2018!
